My doctor recommended taking this for bacteria in my arm and hand that was causing inflammation and pain. After about two months of taking these daily, all pain and inflammation is gone. It was not hard on my stomach at all. I have used this occaissionally after that when I don't feel good or a start of a cold and it helps knock it out quickly with out upsetting my stomach.
