These socks are super comfortable, durable, and fit really well. The cotton feels great, and they look good too. Overall, an amazing pair of socks for hiking or working all day if you can afford them.

I cant say enough good about these. Feet stay dry and warm but not overly hot. They do make heavier socks for those really cold outdoor jobs etc. Pricy butvwell worth it. Buy the FULL CUSHION, this just means the top and bottom of your feet have cushioning. These are midweight and crew not microcrew.

First off, I love these socks. This is a pair I’ve ordered. I’ve ordered several styles and many of the same style. I’ve been wearing these socks for years—and they last that long. I worked in the field and didn’t realize that my previous socks sucked. I would get sweaty and stinky and blistery. My socks were soaked the end of the day. That is, until Darn Tough. It was amazing when I realized that it didn’t just keep my feet warm in Colorado, it kept my feet comfortable in the central Texas summer heat (110F) walking through mud and swamps! My feet didn’t cramp from being cramped in my boots all day. I don’t feel the stitches or seems. I’m telling you, they could call these socks “Darn comfortable” and they would be telling the truth in that regard, as well! Yeah, I know, it sounds crazy, but from that moment on, merino wool has been a favorite of mine, and no other socks will do. They stay comfortable, they don’t itch and my socks stay in place and they are rugged but soft. Seriously. I’m not paid to say this, I didn’t get anything discounted or free, but I really love these socks. I’ve ordered pairs for my wife, my mom, mother in law, aunts, friends, etc… I haven’t heard one person complain about them, but have heard all of them say great things. I’ve been asked to help them order more, many times. This really is my goto recommendation for socks and a sock company. I’m not sure which is more tough, but both the product and the company are darn tough on their quality and desire to please the customer. I think this company is fantastic, and I bet you will, too! Great socks I own 7 pair by them there extremely comfortable great with boots or sneakers cause I wear both very soft they last long with no issues you can wear them 3 days straight with no smell or washing cause it’s wool high quality micro antibacterial n moisture wicking highly recommend this company I only wear darn tough cause they last long and great quality

Very high quality, long lasting socks! We don't get any blisters on long hikes with these socks and fewer issues with athletes foot. They are good in hot and cold weather.

Good fit, well-made, and smooth and soft. My feet have been warmer in other cheaper pairs of socks, so if you're looking for excellent warmth, it's not there. Has extra thickness where you'll need it in the boot. I don't know that I'd pay so much for 1 pair of socks again, tho.

Fit is as expected but I would suggest that if you are at the limit the go for the next size up. Purchased these for a recent 3 Peak Challenge and so glad I did. Took 3 pairs, one for each mountain and none let me down. Very cosy on the feet and a pleasure to wear. On the second mountain in the early hours of the morning and in heavy rain the inside of my boots hot very wet due to rain running down my shorts and legs. The socks did not scrunch up and still kept my feet warm. After making attempts to dry my boots whilst on route to Ben Nevis I changed into a dry pair of these sock and completed the challenge without a single problem. I could not even tell that my boots were still very damp inside. Wash ok with no shrinking and will probably last me a lifetime especially as they have a lifetime no quibble warranty. I would buy these again despite the somewhat steep price tag as I think they are worth it!!

登山靴購入時、試し履きで店頭に用意されていたものを履いたところ、大変フィット感が良かったのでまとめて購入。これまでミズノのブレスサーモを使用していました。生地自体はブレスサーモの方が厚いのですが、ダーンタフは部分的に厚みが調整されており、長時間使用や歩くことに特化されているようです。登山靴との相性が抜群。靴下に三千円以上払うのはどうかと思いますが、一度体験してしまうとむしろ安いと感じます。普段履きも全てダーンタフに入れ替えました。非常に高性能な靴下です。

Initially bought a pair of half cushioned Darn Tough socks and was so impressed I bought a second pair. Then I decided that I wanted a full cushioned pair for my walking boots. I was even more impressed that I bought a second pair of these. The high Merino wool content in these socks are great for keeping your feet temperature just right, neither too hot nor too cold. They have no seams so no rubbing. The fact that they have a high natural wool content also keeps your feet particularly dry especially in full leather walking boots. Even better, they do not slip or bunch up in the boot or shoe. Super comfy. They outperform my Loren fully synthetic walking socks by miles, they produce less foot odour and when wet dry super fast. Finally they wash really well. They take 10-15 mile hiking days in their stride. I like the fact that they are USA made by a company that has pride in their product.
