Q: Are there different compartments to separate bills?

There are actually three to seperate bill. Two standard open, and a third that is securely tucked away with a zipper. There are two zippers total. One for a key or a few coins, and the one that goes lengthwise of the wallet where bills are stored. The zippers aren’t noticeable nor bulky. I ordered the darker brown(can’t recall the exact color) and I love it! Holds all my cards, and is comfortable while sitting. It has held up well, too. Great buy!

Its slightly smaller then your average smart phone..? Looked online..... 3.74 in W 4.52 in L Thickness.... 0.9 in Hope that helps
