i read that is is drying? whats the point of having shine if this will ultimately dry my hair out???

It did absolutely nothing for me to brag about. It was drying to my hair, I tried it for a day or two and then I couldn't stand it any longer and I washed it out. I do better with 100% raw apple cider vinegar and get better results. I thought this would coat my hair and lock in moisture, but all it did was make it feel like straw.

I have baby fine hair and am looking mostly for a product that will give it some body. will this product do that?

It depends on the length of your hair and how much you saturate it. It works beautifully on blonde hair, not so much on darker hair. I ordered several bottles a few months ago and am only at the bottom of the first one. My hair is shoulder length and dyed blonde so it soaks it up. I also use it in the shower after conditioning. Really works for my fine, thick, frizzy blonde hair, it's not smooth and soft after using this product and a flat iron.

Is this a clear treatment? Or does it have color in it? I have silver hair, and do not want color, just shine.

I forgot this question was in my box from so long ago. I am sorry. It is a milky white. No color. My hair is pure white and I use it to help curb yellow and to give it shine. You have to leave it on for a minute or to, so if you get it, don't wash it out right away.
