I had a project on a budget where I needed a lot of cymbal stackers, and didn't want to have to resort to fashioning them out of nuts and bolts. After a bit of searching I found that a 12-pack of these was going to be the best value for what I needed. These are actually decently built. It has the appropriate threading in order to be screwed onto most standard 8mm cymbal stand posts. Of course if the post is smaller, than the short tension rod screw can be tightened on (though personally I'm not a fan of tightening screws onto rod threading if I don't have to). Instead of a wing nut holding the cymbal in place, it is a cap with another small tension rod. Everything fits well together, and so far everything has held in place just fine.
