Velrose Snip-it Pettipants (3362)

Nice fit, very comfortable. I am 5'5 and usually wear a 14 or 16 pants. The large fit perfectly. The hem rests 5 inches above my knee. Great to go under my dresses and skirts.For hot muggy weather I wear the cotton type. Cooler weather, I wear this nylon type. I find the nylon type are better to go over leggings because they don't cling as much.Note: They are intended to wear over your underwear, not as underwear, because they have seams in the crotch, like pants do, not a panty-type crotch.

I wear a 3x and the 3x fit a little more snug on me. I didn't return them because I'm on a diet. They were so soft and silky and did prevent the chubby thigh rub pain but they did ride up on the bottom. That problem might be because of the chub rub and the fact that they were a little too small. I would suggest ordering a size up. But they are a cute alternative to wearing binding spanx just for the thigh rub or wearing a regular slip for modesty

Fits great! A bit see through, but I'm still able to wear a dress with a white see through linen skirt without worrying about everyone seeing my underwear. Comfortable fit. Waist goes up quite high - above belly button. I'm 5'7" and have not needed to cut these shorter for dresses and skirts that are knee length. Helps a lot to prevent thigh chaffing. I've seen reviews noting the lace will rub and be uncomfortable - solution: size down. I typically wear a women's 18/20 and I got two sizes: 1X and 2X since I didn't know how they would fit. Both fit, but the smaller size doesn't ride up as much. Perfect for hot summer days! I've also used them when riding my bike. Perfectly functional and my partner thinks the lace is attractive.

Love these! They're perfect and cute (even as a 25 yr old!). I thought they'd make me feel like a granny but I love them! They have a cute lace border and I'm not afraid of moving like I normally am when I wear a slip (a slip has the same coverage as a dress). I love that they're actually like wearing shorts underneath.Only complaint is that the crotch is really low compared to the waist band. Even when I wear the waist band at my waist instead of my hips it seems really low. Minor detail though. Would recommend!

Size up one size from your usual size, imo. I'm 5'3", 230, and the largest size fit comfortably. Ymmv.These won't keep your inner thighs from rubbing together unless you pull them up to your underboob (not an exaggeration, but I will spare you the picture). I mostly got them to wear as a layer between leggings and dresses to keep the dresses from clinging to the leggings, so I'm not worried about the chub rub, but these really don't work as pants in my opinion if you're getting them to keep your thighs from rubbing together.

This is my 2nd pair of slip shorts. My 1st pair lasted 25 yrs WITH regular washings on gentle and line dry. Fortunately, these were much more reasonably priced. Perfect for under skirts, as well as, light pants that may be a bit sheer in the sun. Someone reviewed these as scratchy but I found after washing they came out much softer. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Quality of the Velrose pettipants didn't matter, because these were AT LEAST 2 SIZES TOO SMALL. Impossible to wear, I will have to give them away or toss them in the trash. Too much hassle to return. The tag sewn inside was mislabeling of the worst kind. Maybe the factory (in China?) probably didn't have enough of one size to fill the order, so they grabbed some from another size pile and sewed a 2 sizes larger tag in. Problem solved!! For them, anyway. Not so much for us poor customers.

I ordered this in a size 3x. The waistband was great, but I returned it because the cut didn't leave enough room in the trunk. I'm a pear shape, it might have been good for someone who is more apple shaped.I found the lace itchy, but I'm really sensitive to that sort of thing. Might be fine for other people.

comfortable, cool under a dress , now I can bend over and not worry about showing it all to the world. I did snip a few inches off the bottom as I am only 5ft tall and wear my dresses just above the knee.
