Great saute pan, good size, non-stick, and durable lid.
Great pan. I love the size of this pan. It is non-stick and durable. I had a slightly different model for five years with no issues. I put our dinner on and forgot it, unfortunately burned the pan. The non-stick material was in tact, but the exterior was charred and I didn't want to scrub on it. The new pan that arrived is not like my original but it works just fine. I like the size an performance of this cooking utensil.

Great product!
I have purchased several T-fal products and this one is my favorite. I will say I have only used it twice so I can’t speak on the longevity of this product. But, what I can say is that not only is it visually appealing with its simplicity and its copper handles but also, the handle did not get hot. Usually, other brands will burn your hand or you need some kind of heat protection. This one was surprisingly safe. Food cooked well without sticking and it made cleaning was easy. The size is amazing and the heat stamp in the center worked as advertised. My other T-fal products say they show “ heat ready stamp”but they don’t. Hopefully, this one last because I am ordering 3 more sizes now. I will update if a problem occurs.

Quality Deep Sauté Pan with Hand-Friendly Handles
I really like T-Fal products, and this pan is no exception. I had recently replaced all my cookware with a T-Fal set from Amazon. I decided to complete it with this deep, sauté pan. I like T-Fal because, of course, they are all forever-chemical free. They heat up quickly and evenly. They cook evenly. They are lightweight. I particularly like the fact that the handles are hand-friendly. That is a #1 requirement for me. I don’t want a pan with a handle I can’t handle, for fear of burning myself. They clean up beautifully. I bought this pan with sautéing sea scallops in mind, but I use it for everything that I need a deep sauté pan. Makes clean up so much easier. Quality & value!

Great BIG Pan For a Great Little Price Makes For A Great Value To Me
A lot of my recipes use 2 pounds of ground hamburger or stew meat, and I like to cook in with it some diced onions, peppers, celery, garlic, and so on, depending on what I'm cooking. My old skillets just barely fit all those ingredients, and didn't leave room to stir and flip stuff around for even browning and flavoring, so I decided to get a larger pan, and this is the one I chose. When I received it, there was a small plastic chip broken off where the metal and the handle meet, on the underside. The handle still felt sturdy though, so I just super-glued it back on and then when I was sure it was dried and set, I washed the pan and used it. That's why I dropped it a star on the rating. Other than that though, it worked fabulously for me to deal with the situation I wanted it for, with plenty of room to spare. It's nice and big around, plus deep. Great for all my skillet needs, from the ground round and stew meats, to pork chops, steaks, fried chicken, and more. I now use it at least a few times every week, sometimes more, and it's working out for me just as I'd hoped. I'm not seeing any warping or chipping or flaking or anything like that. It's heavy enough that it lays flat on the burner even with nothing in it, which I like. It indicates to me that it evenly heats the food, and that does seem to be the case from my experience with it. I'm no Julia Childs, so my taste in cookware is at a very basic level - if it works like I want, I'm happy. This does that. I'm sure there are good solid reasons to buy cookware that's MUCH more expensive than this, but it's not what I personally need or want.

Its a nice all purpose pan
This review is for the T-fal B36290 Specialty Nonstick 5 Qt. Jumbo Cooker Sauté Pan with Glass Lid, Black, which was ~$20 at the time of purchase. This has been a great pan for me. I'm a single guy, 40 years old, who has mostly had other people cooking my meals for the majority of my life. First it was mom, and then the various female partners that I've had over the years. A couple years ago I entered a phase of my life wherein I am flying solo; doing me, if you will. (you do you boo). This has been all fine and dandy, but after living off mostly fast food and take out for the first year, I've had to learn to prepare my own meals. I'm tired of pizza, hamburgers, and chinese food. So I needed some tools for the job right? I was under the impression that a pan is a pan. Its a metal thing that you apply heat to, and lay your food on top of it until its ready to eat right? Wrong. After buying a few of the cheapest pans I could find I learned the hard way, not all pans are created equally. I bought a cast iron pan a while back, and while that was a definite improvement over the seven dollar non-stick pan I'd been using, it was also a huge pain to maintain. Enter the T-fal B36290 Specialty Nonstick 5 Qt. Jumbo Cooker Sauté Pan with Glass Lid, Black. I've had this pan for a month or so, and I basically cook all of my meals in it now. Mostly chicken breast, or ground turkey, along with an array of frozen veggies. This pan does a great job. It heats evenly, Is big enough to handle just about anything I want to toss in it, and things have never stuck to it at all as of yet. The coating seems to be holding up, and cleaning could not be easier. So far so good. Definitely worth the twenty bucks I spent on it.

Reputable Brand of Cookware
T-Fal has been my main cookware brand starting with the first set I ever owned that my Sister bought me for as a gift because she loved to cook and she wanted me to enjoy it as much as she did. Over the years I’ve purchased a total of THREE of these T-Fal 5 quart deep saute skillets, not because I had anything go wrong with the first one I was using but because I thought it was such a useful piece of cookware that I ordered two more just to have on hand. I use this pan for every meal and have been using the same one that I bought in 2012 (I believe it was) the other two I purchased in 2019 mainly because I couldn’t pass up such an amazing price at less than $13 each, that was even cheaper than the first one. So I got an incredible bargain, I can only kick myself for not buying more at the time. I cook on an electric stove and it heats up evenly, it’s easy enough to clean afterwards and I just have one scratch in it because my Son used a metal table spoon to stir some food when I asked him to keep an eye on it while I left the kitchen. So I’ve gotten 13 years from this skillet, I’d say that’s pretty darn durable for a Teflon surface. It’s very important to only use the proper utensils while cooking and don’t overheat the pan. I absolutely love the glass lid, many skillets don’t offer a lid, I want a lid that can fit each pan I have. As for the other two that I bought, I was actually having trouble finding room to keep them stored in the box they came in but as luck would have it I gave one to my oldest Son and his new Bride, they told me it’s their favorite skillet! A friend of mine also had one of her Daughters that had lost her household items, so I gave the other one to her, so that worked out great for everyone. T-Fal is a reputable brand and they’ve been around for many years. I’d love to catch this on sale again for a bargain price, I’d buy a couple more just to have on hand.
