If raw feeding this bowl is suitable for max 700g of meat at a time. It's strong and durable, suitable for a medium sized dog but was not big enough to feed my German Shepherd.

My dog has been bulking his food down for ages. I’m so glad I bought these for him. They’re doing the job well at slowing his eating down. He likes them too. They’re easy to clean, great quality and value for money. They’re also quite strong and sturdy. Very pleased.

Developed a huge sharp dangerous for the dog crack after putting in the dishwasher once – really disappointed as a brilliant idea and it really successfully slowed down the dogs eating – would be grateful for a replacement!

The riser part of this bowl is perfect but the insert, despite the circumference - which was the same as my dog's existing bowl, was far too small and is useless. The anti-gulp aspect makes the available space for food in the bowl very scant. I have had to stand his old bowl over the top of the riser part for my dog to eat the right amount. As the bowl is not part of the unit, it rattles but fortunately this does not spook him as he is food obsessed! Disappointing as to get a big enough insert for my medium sized dog, I'd have had to buy a huge size!

This is just what I needed for slowing down my new rescue dog’s eating speed. It slows her down enough without making it too frustrating for her. I like the fact it’s stainless steel as it’s easy to clean. It fits into the raised feeder (of a different make) that I already owned, so was altogether a good buy.

I ordered the 250ml size and had to return it as it is very small in size for the dog to get his nose in.It does just look like a small bowl that has been turned upside down it even has the manufacture place sticker stuck in it looks shiny on the outside and mat on the inside surface.
