Pan is OK and the non-stick seems to work, but time will tell. The cast aluminum looks great, like cast iron but not nearly as heavy and the embedded magnetic base works fine with an induction cooktop.The handle is held on by a threaded rod in the handle and a threaded end cap that screws on to hold the handle tight. I have the 8 inch pan also and the threaded rod that came with this one is almost 1/4" shorter than the one on the 8 inch pan. So short that it won't catch in the threaded end cap. An obvious quality issue that never should have made it out of the factory.I'll fix it rather than return because Amazon is out of stock and it would be $10 more from a 3rd party seller and take another week to arrive.I'd give the pan 4 stars and the quality control zero stars for such an obvious problem; overall two stars and a warning that you might get one with the same issue.
