The Incase City backpack an actual student review
The Incase City backpack is an amazing tech backpack for a great price. I am a student who is currently obtaining my degree to transfer to a university from community college and am on my last semester at CC. For the last two years I have been using a Herschel little America backpack. Although it is a great bag in its own right, it wasn't suited for my needs as a student. The City backpack suits my needs as a student perfectly. I was in need of a backpack that can carry my 15" HP laptop, iPad Air 2, studio wireless beats headphones, Mophie powerstation XXL, notebooks, textbooks, pencils, pens, and all the cables associated with my stuff. Not only was I searching for a bag to do all of this, but I was searching for one that can organize it all. There is plenty of organizational options built in to this backpack. The main compartment of the City offers ample 360 degree protections for my laptop, and has a soft material to prevent scratches. It also is big enough to case my 5 subject notebook and text books that I need for class. The second compartment has pockets built in that are both mesh and solid fabric. It also has a "hidden" zippered pocket in this compartment, where I place my wallet usually. I place my Mophie power station XXL in the lower mesh compartment, and smaller charging cables in the pocket next to it. When I am charging my iPhone or iPad I can easily plug them in and close the compartment. There is a zippered compartment on the top outside of the backpack that is lined with a soft material, perfect for gadgets and thing you don't want to get scratched. I usually place my studio wireless beats in here and my sunglasses. On the front outer portion of the City backpack there is two zippered compartments. The top one holds my iPad Air 2, planner, pencils, pens, flash drives, and also has plenty of room left over to organize other items. The front bottom compartment is perfect for storing the bigger cables, I place my laptop charger and my 10' lightning cable there with no issues. This backpack also has two small zippered pockets on the back, each one is located near their straps. These pockets are too small to fit my iPhone 7 plus, but they are seem to work perfectly to carry smaller items like a metro card. The City backpack is constructed out of very durable materials, and it provides adequate padding for comfort. The material is also water resistant to an extent, we have had a lot of rain here in Southern California lately and the water just beads up and drops off. Located on the top of the backpack is a sturdy handle, which makes putting on and taking off the bag extremely easy, even with all of the weight. The City also looks amazing, I won't hesitate to bring it into an office setting or anything like that. Coming from a Herschel backpack that only had a main compartment and a small outer compartment, the organization this backpack provides blew me away. I couldn't believe how much I took organization for granted. There are very few minor issues that I have with the City backpack. There is no water bottle pouch. I do however carry a 64oz hydroflask filled with water that has a case so it's not an issue to me personally but some other people may not like that. I have seen some customers complain about the color of the inside of the backpack, it is tan. If you don't like the contrast then it may bother you. I find that the contrast makes it easy to find what I need faster than if it were black inside. The small zippered pockets on the backside of the backpack are too small to fit my phone, and for my purposes really will only hold small cards and stuff. Although this is a great tech backpack, it is too slim to carry my tech and a full change of clothes, even with taking out my notebooks and textbooks. It does however expand enough to carry a change of boxers, basketball shorts, socks, and a tshirt with all of my tech gear, so I can just bring a duffle bag if I'm going on a weekend trip. The Incase City backpack is an amazing backpack for a student or business professional. It provides ample organizational options and protection for your gear. The price is also a great deal, considering the amount of competition in the tech bag market. I highly recommend the Incase City backpack because of its price, usefulness, aesthetics, and protection.

Excellent backpack with a few drawbacks but not deal breakers
Very nice backpack that has tons of organization and storage options. The site says it is around 22L but when i compare it to others that say they are 28 to 30 liters, this bag seems to hold as much or more. I love the laptop compartment because you can stick your laptop in as well as a bunch of files and folders. Then there is another compartment with decent space for more items. I use this bag for work so the 2 large compartments works out nice. Others might not like the 2 large compartments and might prefer 1 larger compartment and 1 compartment for just the laptop. The front organization panel is nice as well with really good organization options. Also the top quick access pocket is massive and has very soft material in there. My gripes are no water bottle pockets. The small side quick access pockets seem worthless to me and no chest strap. The chest strap isn't a deal breaker. Sometimes i like not having it so that there aren't a ton of dangling straps, but other times when I am wearing it with my puffer jacket which has a slippery shell, the straps seem to move a little. Overall since I am not hiking and just walking from my car to the office, this is not a deal breakers. Same thing with the lack of water bottle holders. I don't usually carry a water bottle so for now its not a huge deal. The main drawback for me on this bag is that the interior on the grey heathered bag is black fabric. This makes it extremely difficult to see inside the bag, especially the main organization pocket because that pocket does not open in a U shape it opens as one long slit across the front. Thankfully this pocket has tons of volume built in and the organization is laid out well so I can feel my way to the things I need. The other thing I would say is I am not sure how durable this bag will be. I am pretty sure they do not use YKK zips, they feel nice, but are not massive and sometimes get caught on the fabric around. Overall I have been using this bag for about a month and have had no issues yet, but I am concerned about the long term durability. Also the fabric seems nice, but again I do not think it will be that durable and I do not think the fabric is very water resistant.Overall this is a great bag that I have compared against about 10 other bags and this has won out for its organizational abilities and wearing comfort.

High Quality Backpack
This is a great backpack, in terms of room there's plenty of it, its able to fit a 17 inch laptop in it's 360 protection pouch that is lined with a soft fleece like fur and padded mesh form surrounding it. Also note that the pouch wall is thicker for better protection than what other laptop backpacks has to offer. The top front pocket is also lined with a soft fleece like fur to store valuables that you don't wan't to be scratched. The top front facing pocket has a pouch to store a tablet while attached to that are more smaller pouches to store pens, pencils, etc. The material design of the backpack consist of coated polyester all around except the front that consist of what feels like denim nylon in which case this backpack can hold up against light rain, but should be noted that it is not water proof. The shoulder straps are also very wide and padded along with the padded back support, it makes the backpack very comfortable to wear when packed. I find that this backpack is of higher quality when compared to other laptop backpacks, for example, the Spigen Klasden 3 or New Coat 2, both of which doesn't have that 360 padded mesh that surrounds your laptop to offer that kind of protection. Overall, this is one of the best laptop backpack I have found thus far.
