Great Ziploc bags that work great and last a long time they keep the smells out and keep Critters from entering

Well they are thick and the seal is air tight and they look like they will last a long time but who knows if they're better at keeping the smell of food from the bears better than a Ziploc freezer bag? I packed my food in them and put in a Bearvault canister and nothing touched it overnight when camping so guess it works. These are like vitamins....you don't really know if they're doing their job.

Kept the mice on the trail out of my food

Both of these bags were faulty. The bag was not attached to the green lock strip on 1 side of each bag so they couldn’t be closed. I’ve used Opsaks in the past and they worked great but these were manufactured incorrectly and I didn’t know until I just tried using them for a backpacking trip and now it’s past the return date!

These are great but I find them to be a bit pricey for the actual times you can reuse them. If you are very careful, they hold up but they get creases and dents in the plastic which is pretty thick and sturdy. They seal and reseal well if you're very careful opening them. Eventually, the top will tear no matter how careful you are. I have been able to use them for two, maybe three trips, depending on what's in them. Again, it's good to have the odor lock and waterproofing but they don't last all that long. The corners are stiff and can poke through things but I use a fairly thick dry bag for my food so it's not an issue

They work. Odors don’t get through. The ones I bought were kinda small but they still do the job.

I bought these for backpacking. I had overflow that wouldn't fit into my bear bin and I used this bag.

I've put some pretty smelly stuff in these and the odor did not permeate as far as my human nose could tell. I used these with the critter/bear bag with no problems. Nothing bothered my food. I have also kept in a dry sack in my tent with no issues even though some of the areas of the trail had lots of complaints about rodents trying to get at food.
