Q: Are there instructions in English? Received it today and the only writing on outside of box is Chinese with nothing inside.

There were no instructions with mine either. I put the straw thru the rubber insert from INSIDE the lid, and then pulled it thru the spout. This provided a seal so there were no leaks.

Q: Can you put warm coffee or tea in it?

Yes, you can , this is 304 Stainless Steel.

Q: Does this work with honey consistency thickened liquids?

Our Convalescent Feeding Cup has three kinds of ways to use: 1. cup + dustproof cap: can be used as an ordinary cup. 2. multifunction cap+straw+straw head:can drink water,juice etc.don't need to tip up to drink. 3. multifunction cap + suction nozzle : can drink liquid food,such as porridge /congee /conjee etc.
