This backpack is the best pack I have ever owned bar none. I have Hex, Chrome, and Lowepro packs to name a few. They are all great in their own way and good for what I used them for, but this pack is more versatile, useful, and comfortable to carry.I have lower back problems, and some packs irritate my back, and I end up in pain. Not this pack. It’s so easy to adjust while wearing so that my back issues when carrying gear have gone away.I am a teacher. Due to the pandemic, I teach my courses online and enhance them with videos. I decided to shoot those videos vlog style and post them on YouTube. I needed a backpack to carry my camera, lenses, microphones, and other gear. I shoot these videos hiking with my dogs every morning. This pack has room for all my stuff and then some. I have used this pack for a couple of weeks and am still discovering ways to adapt the space to better suit the gear I want to carry.This is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. I have the Peak Design capture clip, too. Peak Design is a company that like Apple are never done perfecting their equipment. They use what they build and listen to their customers. That combination means their equipment is refined and goes beyond your expectations for how they work. I will continue to purchase their products because they are well made, and Peak Design stands behind their work providing lifetime guarantees. They are a green company with zero carbon emissions. I liked the charcoal and midnight blue colors better but bought the black because it’s the vegan option.If you are looking for an everyday backpack that is versatile, well made, comfortable to carry that protects your gear, buy this pack. You won’t be sorry.It’s the one pack to rule them all my precious.

As described and arrived on time for our trip to NYC, where it was put to very good use and held my camera and lenses like a champ! Kept everything dry in the rain during the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade! So happy with our purchase!

I love how easily the bag allows for access to every compartment. Carries a laptop, large DSLR, lenses, flash and all are easily accessible. Both sides and the top open for camera access and the laptop/tablet compartment is separately accessible. Magnetic clasp and contact points are easy to use and a very nice design element. Material seems very strong and feels like it will last many trips.

I love these bags. I got the V1 and had to get the V2. Passed the V1 on to my son, who loves it too. It’s just the best tech everyday backpack around (IMO). Great quality, features, and the look is awesome. I’m a big fan. Highly recommend.

Quality is great holds all of my camera gear ..

Decided to splurge on a travel backpack for my new Canon R8 for our trip to Korea and Japan in June.Needless to say the durability is very average at best after 20 days abroad in the cities. Something I would expect for a sub $80 bag but not this one. Reviews seemed solid but what I found is the shoulder straps are very loose (almost broken in too much too quickly), the touted “magnet” strap holders don’t work as designed or advertised. And the interior divider come apart and I have to reset them often enough it is annoying.The magnetic latch strap is also very loose and doesn’t feel secure as it did straight out of the box.Certainly the concept is appealing but for the premium price tag it’s a massive disappointment. I DON’T recommend this bag at all for the price.

This backpack is great with it being comfortable and compact however there are a few negatives which led me to return mine. For starters the organization is very nice but the pockets and storage is very tight with everything bulging out. The laptop sleeve on the back can fit a laptop however due to how slim and tight the pocket is, any device placed inside pokes out leaving less room inside. The center compartment doesn’t open up wide so it can be difficult to organize items with the only access being via the sides and the slim top down opening. Overall if you are look for a camera bag I would recommend looking elsewhere such as the Peak Design Travel Backpack.

I carry an older DSLR camera that all together with lenses, filters, batteries and other parts of a kit gets heavy. my bag usually weights 16 pounds with all my gear. It is so comfortable to use this bag and hike or just go out with it. it is very water proof, and very low profile too. it is pricey though. i think its worth it because you can register the bag on the Peak Design website and get a life time warranty. 10/10
