Why did you pick this product vs others?:This neewer ringlight is the real deal. It is extremely bright. I am an aspiring makeup artist and i was always struggling with my previous ringlight because it was not bright enough. Having good lighting helps with proper blending of makeup and seeing all imperfections before hand so that you can correct it right away. I am so happy with this purchase. Set up was not so bad once you figure it out. Please don't hesitate to buy, worth every dollar.

Very bright!. It can be adjusted to your liking- my only issue is the phone holder slides off and doesn’t stay locked . Easy to assemble, it’s worth the purchase.. not heavy and easy to travel with it came with the bag. I love the two different light colors.

I have only just received my Newer 20" ring light. It came nicely packaged in a zipper case. Since it is mostly plastic, it is light and easy to transport. It comes ready to mount on standard studio mount or quarter-inch threaded camera mount. The light stand seems to be of good quality. The light temperature is variable but as temperature is changed amount of light output, of course, changes. I have yet to use the remote control since the knobs on the back make it easy to change light temperature and output. In addition to direct A/C power, it comes with two batteries and charger. It has a standard shoe mount and a phone holder to attach to it. Overall, it is a nice lighting "kit." Perhaps most important is that my wife was excited to try it as a makeup light. I am eager to try it for portrait lighting.

Excellent large ring light, plenty of positioning flexibility, sturdy easy-to-adjust stand, smooth controls allowing incremental change from warm white to cool white in any brightness range, with unlimited combinations of either, wonderful to be able to fine-tune color and brightness this way. Well made, has been very durable, purchased in 2020. On-off switch quit functioning after four years of regular studio use in November 2024, I contacted Neewer and they sent a completely new control board, cost of new board and shipping was $25. Easily installed, light back to working like new. Impressed with the product and the excellent customer service. Thanks Neewer!
