Small PIR for ceiling
Installed in a plasterboard ceiling to operate lights in a walk-in-wardrobe.I often forget to switch off the light, so it does so automatically within 90 seconds of closing the doors. Hopefully will save on energy from wasted lighting.Needs approximately a 40-42mm hole saw for installation. The sensor should be wired to receive a PERMENANT live and then the output to the lights switched as per normal; this gives me the option to make sure that the lights don't come on when they'd be inconvenient. The two-pack was not available, which offers better value for money.

So neat
To be honest, this was smaller than I anticipated, but that’s a good thing!I fitted this in an annex at my sons home to power some Dow lighters we had just installed thereby avoiding the need for a light switch. It’s really sensitive and being able to adjust the length of time it’s on is a great feature. For this money, it’s a steal.

Great value for money.
So happy with the sensor. Smalles I found in this price. Works very well. Easy to set up.

Terrible product Worse customer support
What a shocking company Sebson are. We purchased 8 of these units for our self build project. They all trigger falsely when it's windy outside (which is a lot here in the UK). There is no sensitivity setting and no way to stop this which I suspect is caused by tiny air movements in the ceiling voids. IT GETS WORSE Sebson, when contacted were dismissive slow and ultimately said and I quite "it must be assumed that the lights you are using are not compatible with all motion detectors." WOW... I am a property developer and these have been tested with multiple lights and this issue occurs with them all. Hey Sebson IT'S YOUR PRODUCT THAT'S NOT WORKING.**MY RECOMMENDATION - AVOID AND BUY AN ALTERNATIVE**

Compact Mains PIR
I was looking for a small, discreet simple PIR without an electronic driver box. This was the smallest I could find for switching mains voltage LED driver and works perfectly.Really like the fact that it stays on so long as it detects movement. Several of the electronic versions switch off at the end of the time period and then switch on again when they redetect motion causing the light to switch on and off

Product ok
Good value for price

Small and unobtrusive, it works well. Poor mechanical design.
Positives:- It does what it's supposed to, with good configurability options for on-duration and ambient light levels- Settings can be configured from the room side, rather than the ceiling space / attic- Small and discrete, reasonable aesthetics- Can't argue with the value for money at this price point (13GBP at time of writing)Negatives:- No cable strain relief, combined with a small and mediocre quality terminal block. Not really good/safe enough for a permanent mains powered installation as-is, in my opinion. I've combined mine with an ABS backbox with glands in the attic for the requisite mechanical protection.- Switching is by mechanical relay contacts rather than solid-state. The relay click is loud enough to be annoying, especially when fitted into a plasterboard ceiling which then acts as a resonator. I expected, and would have preferred silent operation.- (minor) when fitting, the terminal block requires a flat blade whilst the terminal cover takes a smaller Posidrive. What happed to the supposed "German design" ethos?Additional:- A 40mm hole saw fits perfectly to create the required aperture- Supply can be via a switched live but also requires a neutral conductor
