Q: Can you use Command strips so not to damage paint?

You can try the Command strips. I used the included adhesive tape was useless, in the garage area. One word of caution. A warm location may affect the adhesive quality.I had to use mounting screws.

Q: Will thet stick to uneven surfaces like brick?

you would need to anchor them to the brick as they have flat back surface and the double sided adhesive that comes with them is pretty much usless

Q: How much does one light weigh (without batteries) in ounces/grams?

I can't say for sure as they are all stuck up in various places, but they are not very much. Very light w/o batteries. By far, the batteries are where the weight in the final product is. I stuck them in my garage for light until the overhead motion sensor kicks in, and on my doors above locks so i can see the keyhole in the dark.
