Saw is very sharp and teeth are offset at the perfect angle so that it really does cut twice as fast as other saw. It is also very light and durable and stays sharp like it was when I first got it. I use it as my go to saw to cut up fallen trees and limbs - even with 8-10 in diameter. Sawing 3 inch limbs takes around 3-4 strokes. I have also used it to cut boards for decks and it is great for that as well and it cuts fast and leaves a smooth cut even for cross cuts. Best hand saw I have ever found.

I have a lot of DeWalt tools this was very sharp out of the box. I cut my finger taking it out . Cuts like a dream.

I needed a small, all purpose saw and this fits the bill. The area I work in is pretty small and this saw doesn’t feel too big to use. It cuts fast, cuts pretty clean, the handle is comfortable and the mitered gauges molded into the handle are reasonably accurate. This saw is VERY similar to one made by Stanley. As far as I can tell the blades are the exact same. The handle is similar as well. I have both and they seem to cut the same as far as I can tell. Whichever one you can find cheaper is the one I would get. They will both work well for you. Recommended.
