It is really small. It does expand some once wet. I used it with my cream blush and it did a good job.

Wonderful!
Love at first use! Wonderful for contour and highlighter and blush, and I often use it for my cream foundation as well. Soaks up less product than the regular sized Beauty Blender, and cleans easier too. The $16 bucks is high, yes, but I am so hooked on it I will repurchase. I have retired all but my powder brushes now!

Best blush application
I love the smaller size, because I have a very small face. It allows me to apply blush in just the right spot, and not all over my face. This is the best way I have found to apply and blend blush.
