I have a Hamilton Beach single brew that takes only pods and that is what these are.

Q: What is a coffee “pad”? Is it a typo? Is it just a pod? Is pad a pod that the manufacturer of the machine decided to call them?

It seems in most European Regions, that the "Pad & Pod" are the same, Round, Flat, Paper Disc, Filled with the Ground Coffee, For use in a Senseo Coffee Machine. They are fully bio-degradable. The Pad/Pod, IS NOT the same thing as the "Cup" type used in Kruieg Machines.
