Great tool, but long shipping in my case (probably hot season?)
I bought "the tool only" from Amazon and found someone wrote that the dethatcher blade and batteries not included. I wasn't sure which tool is not included and bought both, so one will be returned. Attention! The tool you see in my photos not included, so you need to buy it separately. Another tool (aerator blade included). I bought a bag, a dethatcher attachment, two batteries, and a charger separately. It works well, charging very quickly and very lightweight. Excellent tool for people who hate cords! But, you will pay extra money to be cord-free. I spent (without tax) $145.58 on the tool, 29.99 on the attachment, $24.99 on the bag, and $95 on batteries with one charger. So total is $364 with tax and 325.98 without tax.

No dethatching blade
Bought this to dethatch but beware, it does not come with the dethatching blade. You have to buy separately. Also you need to buy the battery separately as well. A little disappointed. Guess I need to shop for the other dethatching blade since I already bought battery and tool. Little irritated by it.

Great product but doesn't come with everything
Keep in mind that even though it says its a dethatcher, it doesn't come with a dethatching blade! You have to buy the bag too!

Works nicely
It did a great job. First time de-thatching the lawn. Cannot believe how much it picked up, it was easy to use and it wasn’t heavy. Don’t buy the bin as it does very little, most of the debris was left on lawn.

It is what it is
I bought this instead of the Sun Joe de-thatcher because I didn’t want to deal with a cord. That is the best and worst thing about this machine. It is convenient but also stalled out every 15-30 feet for lack of power. That being said my yard is very hard; hence why I bought the unit, and I will need to aerate next spring. I also had it on the lowest setting of 0 while de-thatching, it died much less when I raised it to 1 while doing the scarification. Once my soil is softer it may run more smoothly.Even though that was annoying, the unit itself did a great job removing the thatch. Note the other reviews which explain that you need to buy the de-thatcher and batteries separately, which add up to around 265 bucks. It does come with the scarifier and is super easy to assemble. The battery, as indicated, is the best and worst part of the unit. You’re cord free but it takes 2 batteries and they last long enough to do 1/5 of an acre at a quick pace. It’s probably worth buying a double charger to save time so that when the batteries die you can rake or mow the thatch to collect, then begin with the machine again.Overall 4 stars Bc I’d buy it again, but disappointed that I’ll be buying a double charger now. For the price you’re still saving tons over a gas model.
