These bookmarks are adorable! I've enjoyed using them, and was pleased to find that while they're firm, they're also flexible. As noted by others and I think the listing, there's a minor amount of assembly required (you tie the charms onto the bookmarks through the hole in the bottom of the bookmark), but that was actually enjoyable for me - though your mileage may vary: I did this task while listening to an audiobook and it was pretty soothing. The assembly allows you to choose which charm you want on which bookmark (there're 2 of each kind of bookmark with varying phrases), or you can use the photo from the listing to pair them that way (that's the method I chose, since I liked the pairings they did). The bookmarks have a nice matte-sateen finish, and the charms are cuter than the above picture makes them look. As noted by some reviewers, the charms are actually in the 'bottom' of the bookmark; while I'd have preferred they be in the 'top', it hasn't detracted from my use or enjoyment of them.They came in a simple little resealable pouch (zip-top seems sturdy, simple open and close) so I can keep them tidily in one place when they're not in use. I'm probably going to end up using this pouch to ferret away my other bookmarks, too, so I won't lose them as often!

I bought these as gifts for my daughter's Battle of the Books team. They were a huge hit, everyone loved them! You will have to attach the charms to the bookmarks, but it only took a minute to do it. They are a high quality bookmark with beautiful drawings and the charms are a great extra touch! I would definitely recommend these to others and buy again!

I can’t use two of the book marks they spelled students wrong syudents it is clearly wrong in the display picture too but I didn’t notice that when purchasing.
