Spanish Collection Butter Dish, Various Colours BUTSS

This is the perfect butter dish. Large enough for even bigger butter sticks (it would likely hold two regular sized ones). If you keep it in the cupboard, it's small enough (and pretty enough) to fit. In the fridge, it fits in the appropriate spot. The lid fits into a groove, so doesn't move around much. Plus, though you don't get to pick, I got the design I wanted!

It's a bit short for a stick of butter but just right for 8 oz. of Irish butter or cream cheese.

It is a nice butter dish, however, I receive the one I liked the least. I feel we should be able to pick the one we like and have a first choice and a second choice. I am sure you sent me the one you have the most of. I love Amazon and have always been happy with my previous purchases. I am not sure this is amazon,s rule.

The dish is too shallow to fit a standard European 8 oz butter. Emporium Cookshop advises by email 'These butter dishes are designed to hold a smaller amount from the the original block of butter, so it can be placed outside of the fridge for use'. I wish that had been in the product description. Slicing butter blocks across the middle to fit the dish is not my idea of convenience. Returns have to be shipped back to the UK for refunds at the customers expense.

You don't get all four. You get one and you don't get to choose. However, in my opinion they are all so pretty that I didn't care which one I received. I'm extremely happy with what I did receive. The colors are so vivid and happy! I have happy, vivid dishes so the butter dish fits right in. Very, very pleased.

The first one I ordered arrived with a chip in the dish. I returned it, and the second one got a chip on the dish by the end of the first week. We don't use a lot of butter, and our last one, hand painted in Italy, lasted 25 years. Very disappointed.
