Absolutely The Best (5 year user)
I have been buying this brand patch for over 5 years and I can tell you that you will Never find an adhesive like Rescue Essentials Tegaderm Patches.I use this adhesive to cover my prescription pain patch. It’s important to know that this film does not have the bandage patch in the middle, that’s why I chose them to begin with years ago. When placing it over a medicated patch, you don’t want to add any heat. So a plain film is needed and necessary for me to keep the patch on for a couple of days as prescribed. It doesn’t move-even when wet!No other brand works like this one. This is by far the best product of its kind and my only choice now. It’s well worth the money if you need it.One thing is important to remember. If you want something to stick this incredibly well. It is also going to take some effort to take it off. And for sensitive skin like mine, there will be red marks around it when you remove it. Sometimes my skin burns a little as well, a few hours after I first put it on. And again when I take it off and for a little after. It is necessary for that to happen in my opinion because otherwise it wouldn’t stick. Of all I’ve tried this is simply the best!*A little advise if your skin does get irritated when you first put on. You can spray the skin where you would apply the patch with some antihistamines spray. You then need to wipe it off a little and let it dry before putting the tegaderm on. (I’ve been doing this for years & it was recommended to me)***Also, use a little lotion or petroleum to rub on the corner of the tegaderm patch when removing! Do not just yank it off, just gently rub a corner with lotion and do it slowly. This will make removal pain free and lessen the red mark when take off. The redness will go away in an hour or so**I hope that helps someone so they don’t have to learn it first hand as I have. Any irritation this product may cause is not enough to keep me from buying it and I have very sensitive skin! The Best hands down! And only here on Amazon will you find this low price!

Stay put for days and waterproof!
3M Tegaderm film dressings are an Amazing product for use on cuts, incisions and scrapes if they are not producing much fluid. A light coating of petroleum jelly or 3-in-1 ointment over the wound will keep the wound moist and make for a pain free removal, while protecting the wound from external infection and allowing water vapor from the wound site to exit up through the dressing, while keeping moisture from penetrating from outside the dressing, into the wound!Great stuff! 👍Heal faster and with less scarring! 🥰Very thin and flexible, and adhesive is good for sensitive skin. They have helped me with skin cancer surgical sites greatly!Wish I would have known about them when I had open heart surgery, to help better heal the scar from having your rib cage cut in half!😬😁Once you use these, regular band aid type dressings Pale in comparison.Great Value from seller!Highly recommend! 👍

Protect and heal open skin
Good number of transparent dressings, easy to use for wound care. Good to have on hand in the first aid box, as they seal the skin from dirt and bacteria. These also ‘trick’ the skin into healing up from the wound bed without serial scabbing and deepening the crater. They can be left in place for up to 7 days. If it is pooling liquid in it, I used a piece of Telfa cut to fit over the open part first, and then used the clear dressing over it, which though it had to be changed more often, was easier on my skin than the paper tape for holding the dressing in place. Get a good wound care book for reference if you aren’t familiar with it. See your doctor for help if it doesn’t look better in a couple of days, has pus or hard black material (eschar), or smell odd or bad. People who have blood conditions or diabetics should be really careful self treating.

LOVE this for healing wounds
Everyone with a kid or someone in the family prone to crashing their mountain bike (that would be me) should have this in the cupboard at all times.I was a little skeptical at first as it was SUPER sticky but I was transitioning from DynaDerm to Tegaderm as my gravel rash got a little more healed up and stopped weeping. I kept it on for 3 days and had the darndest time trying to get it off to change the dressing. It was on their TIGHT! It was stuck down so hard that I was certain that it would pull off the scab and healing skin... I was wrong. It was hard to peel off good skin, but it came off the wound without a problem. It stays on better than the Nexc@re brand. I had some 2x2s of those for my hand. I would definitely get the smaller ones of this brand next time. The pictures are before and after the first time I used it. The photo with the dressing on is after I had changed the dressing and put the new one on.

Pretty good
They work fairly well, just make sure you apply them perfectly.

stays on the whole week
A nurse recommended using these to cover a weekly medical transdermal patch that was always starting to peel at day 4 or 5 and risked becoming unusable before the next patch change. This works great. It is a super thin, super strong layer that covers the entire patch. Because it is so thin you don't even feel it when it's on. Even though the medical patch is water proof I believe getting wet was causing some of the problems. So putting this clear patch over top of it keeps it dry and also none of the edges can get pulled up by rubbing on my clothes.
