MY NUMBER ONE BLANK CD'S
These are still the best CD's bar none in my opinion! You can burn these in a CD burner, in a laptop or external DVD burner. NOW, If I were asked what difference I would make to this CD, that would be to get rid of the musical notes above the Maxell label, that's it! They get in the way of my longer titles that I name my mixed CD's.

Great quality. 300+ cds I burned and no duds.
Easy to write on label side. Plenty of writing room. Unlike the vinyl replica cd-r's which have minimal room even though they are pretty cool. I wish they still made the gold cd-r's in bulk at a reasonable price. But these are the next best thing to me.

Old School for the 90's version of mixtapes...
Having a 17 year old truck, I don't have an MP3 player, or usb connector on my stereo. So I use CD-Rs with the albums I like (plus singles, and mixes) for my commutes. These CDs are more capable and reliable than most CD-Rs. It's not that there is something "magical" about "audio" CD-R's... just that the quality of these for the price is worth it.As a Gen-X'er who still buys audio CDs, I don't take my originals into the hot truck. This CD-R is good enough to handle the heat and play well even after many days in the car.

Works on my Phillips CD recorder
I recently acquired a Phillips CD-R 785 and none of the CD-R discs I have are compatible. After some research I found that there are specific CD’s needed that can be used recording audio on standalone recorders such as this one.The CD was read, burnt, and finalized flawlessly.

Great for music
Maxwell is great for music and plays in most CD Players. Much better than disc's used for data.
