So far so good. After using a few months I slightly tightened the screws and it’s even more solid feeling than before. I was wary of stressing this easel—after all it’s not made of oak—but so far no cracks. I also will add based upon other reviews beware over-tightening the set handles given that the wood, as I said, isn’t a hard species.Seems otherwise very well designed and really am impressed with the value. It assembles with extreme ease, very obvious design and came exceptionally well packed and well organized. It’s very handsome, too. I would say be good and take care not to be rough and it will do the job well.

This easel is so beautifully and well made it is a joy. It sggests that one needs two people to put it together but I managed on my own. The instructions were very clear and all small parts were clearly marked. It was packed so well and with great aforethought that there was no damage at all. Other suppliers often have complaints about shipping damage... but not this company!By removing the middle support box it extends very high but is still very stable. (someone complained that it was only for small paintings..rubbish, just read the instructions! i love it and even though the painting I am working on is quite large it doesn't wobble or fold up as you work. It also lies flat..important if you use an opticle lens for portraits.

Easel arrived very well packaged with lots of foam padding. It take about 30 minutes to assemble if you are reasonably handy. I left the wheels off due the low ceiling in my studio. Instead I put large ‘furniture felt pads’ on the bottom. The furniture pads are easy to slide and the whole easel is easy to pick up and move. There is a little bit of ‘play’ in the risers section, but 2 more small felt pads added, and now the whole carriage is rock solid. Quality is good, no ding or dents. Hardware all fit. I put two pictures ( not finished) on the top and bottom, each panel is a 12 x 16, to give you some idea of the size.

great easel. Was pretty easy to assemble.A little large but easy to adjust.

We were looking for a good quality, multi-purpose easel for our Artis daughter. After doing a lot of research and reading, we chose this one mostly based on the brand, description and customer reviews. It arrived packed and protected very well. The quail wood and hardware is very good and assembly was easy with good instructions.Our daughter was very pleased and we highly recommend this easel.

I was very excited to find this easel that could hold two canvases or whatever. I use mine with boards that I tape stuff too. BUT the top one really is quite a reach, which I feel could have been eliminated by making the space between them smaller...With that being said it really can hold a large surface area, and it adjusts in any direction you could want it. However, it takes some effort to do so. I Love that it rolls around (I almost didn't even put the wheels on!)It looks great and is very sturdy and is overall worth the money charge.It did take an hour or so at least to put together on my own, but was pretty straight forward.

Got this easel after buying and returning two others. First bought a Meeden Multifuntion easel and it has some damage and just didn’t function the way I had hoped so returned it. Then I bought the Bob Ross easel and again had damage and was very cheaply made and wobbly so returned it. Finally got this Viswin and it is solid, easy to put together, easy to move with the four wheels and overall great functionality! I anticipate this lasting a long time.

This easel is very stable when using big canvases. I have been painting 36x48 gallery canvases and there is no wobble. Adjusting the easel to raise and lower is simple as well.The option to paint with the easel flattened at table height is fantastic and something I never realized that I wanted. It helps for painting the edges of canvases and if you ever decide to mix in glitter or something like that into your paint, you won't spill it...quite as much, anyway.Great easel. Vastly better than the large three leg metal one that I used prior to this one. I would love a crank, so that I don't have to lift it at all, but those easels cost much more money. For the money, this easel is a winner.
