Car fault diagnosis steps up a gear with this reader, just check your car is on the long list of cars that this works with.Plug this into the vehicles management port thats normally by the drivers knees and the turn on the ignition and it reads the engines management codes. My car has a fault and it found it in a few seconds and whilst this dd not apply a cure it got rid of the fault light - at least for a while.This is not a device that fixes things, just a device to tell you what the problem is so you can perhaps fix the issue yourself and probably save the cost of the device by not using the garage.So this one work with both stationary or driving cars and can record data which you can then download and analyse of a pc using the software and cable that comes in the box.This one is possible over the top for my use but then again my last car developed a fault whilst I was driving that vanished when I stopped - this could have easily sorted that out for me.Clever, easy to use device that may save you a fortune and your local main dealer

Nice bit of kit... works on the few cars that I have used it on. It is my 1st time using such equipment, so it will take time to adjust, however, I have just used it a few times and it has shown all is OK on a couple of BMW's and a Mazda. I just need to establish what all the fault codes are in case I ever have a need to know!!
