Metabo KS 216 M 240 V Laser Compound Mitre Saw

Originally I did order a cheaper one but the seller said it was damaged on transit, but I did review the comments that other customers had said about this Mitre Saw and took a chance as I have never heard of the Make of this one before. When I got it, it took me a while to understand the makeup and model number and safety figures on this saw. I am going to build a special stand for it with solid wood and have it bolted to the stand.I have tried it and it cuts well you do not have to just anything on the saw always making sure you do not have long sleeves, make sure you have a good safe area to work when cutting wood. Always make sure you have the proper fire extinguishers in your workshop/shed/garage for both wood and electricity as accidents do happen when you least expect. Everything else is ok and working properly yes I would recommend this saw to any DIYer, or apprentice doing joinery, carpenter etc. Great piece of kit.I bought this Mitre Saw and now just starting to buy a new blade for it. I have had it since 20 May 2021. I can honestly say that this was a good buy for me. I have used it on all wood work projects over the years and never once broke down on me. I have just notice I need a new blade now as the teeth on the original blade is badly worn down. If your looking for a good Mitre Saw that is little bit expensive, but not too expensive I would chose this Metabo Mitre Saw because I Built a mount top for it to sit on with wheels so it is easier to move around my workshop, and a lot easier to cut wood. It also safe your back bending over again and again.This is just an update on a good positive buy for me. 23 June 2025 also my sister is paying for the new blade as it is my birthday and my Metabo Mitre Saw is still going and still in good working condition I love working with it great piece of kit good and good buy.

I really like this mitre saw. Perfect for smaller jobs like second fix carpentry.

Bought as a present for my husband so I can only go on his comments. Good value for money and does the job expected to do. He seems very happy with it although has not been able to use it as much as he would like at the moment.

Didnt want a cross cut saw searched for ages to find a decent mitre saw and this little gem popped up, very sturdy well made piece of equipment has an led light and a laser, saw is easy to set up blade cuts very well only negative is the clamp is a bit feeble but I can live with that.

An excellent replacement to an old worn out saw. Perfect for any smaller jobs around the house and fully recommended.

Very bad saw , as they say you only get what you pay for definitely no good for big moulds

the laser is just far away from streight , absolutely useless laser ,the machine is small and is powerfull but is so noicy and not so stability as better brands3 stars from me
