Needed to replace the laptop keyboard, but couldn't get the laptop apart. There was one screw that was stuck and I ended up stripping the head. No problem. Took the computer to a repair shop and he completed the installation for me. Saved a bit of money by ordering this keyboard myself.

Used a hot air station to remove the old keyboard and used a soldering iron to secure the new one. Seemed to be the best way. This keyboard works just fine. Backlight works fine. Can’t complain. Took a useless laptop and gave it new life.

Doesn't match my keyboard even though it is listed... Waste of money.

Fits perfectly and works perfectly with the Acer Aspire e5-576.I've had this computer for a very long time and my model is not meant to have a backlit keyboard, and noone's done it as far as I've researched. But since the motherboard has a slot to power a backlit, I figured I'd try anyway.- clipped off the plastic welds of the "non-repairable" board,- put this new one in,- hot glued the old weld spots and pressed down to flatten themput all the strips back in their slots, screwed everything back together and badabing, badaboom, my old acer can finally be used while im in a dark room.

Quality product. Fit as it should. Worked as it should. Was delivered as described and without defect. Recommend.

Excelente producto, quedó muy bien para Acer E5-576G, aunque esa laptop no tiene el slot en la tarjeta madre para la retroiluminación no es ningún impedimento para que quede y funcione perfecto, la instalación es tediosa pero no es culpa del teclado.

For an aging laptop, this was exactly what I needed. Be aware that you can't just pop out the old keyboard. It does require removing old solder and soldering on the new connections. But it worked as expected.
