As I get older, I've noticed that I walk with a degree of pronation, meaning that my shoes tend to wear more on the outer edge of the heel.A Blakey tapped into place effectively minimises this wear and prolongs the life of my shoes.At this low price, it's a bit of a no-brainer!Some people may not like the tap-tap-tap noise when you walk, but I reckon it's quite cool!My photo shows a size 7 Blakey on my size 12 shoe.One tip though: I relied on the spikes to hold the Blakeys in place with my first set - and one was lost a couple of months later. Now I add a drop of Gorilla Glue to the Blakey before hammering it into place - and haven't lost one since.

Difficult to hammer into heel or toe unless you have something hard supporting the inside of the shoe but does the job if fitted correctly.Can recommend supplier.

Ordered according to others reviews on sizing. My shoes were a size 8 and these are just small as I wear the heel down on the outer edge quite quickly. Know for next time size 9 if they work out.NOTE my heels are rubber/hollow items and trying to hammer in waste of time. Ended up apply some heat and then using pliers push them into position, much easier and may help in keeping them in place.Update 7/1/25 have stayed in place have used shoes daily for walks, Blakey's have stayed in place but are wearing as expected but fairly quickly. Reckon they have at least a month plus left before replacing with the ones left from pack.If like me you wear heels down quickly, quality of shoe is a facter, fit these asap.
