Much giggling occured playing this!!!
Love this game!! My 2 year old made me play all 10 cards, one after another! He loves it and I can see the whole family getting involved for a silly race to stack pancakes!Nice and quick for those with short attention spans but it gets people active so that can only be a good thing. The pancakes are small, only about 8cm in diameter and the spatulas are quite small too. Perfect for little people and comical for adults to use!! They are a thick, softish plastic. The spatulas are a hard plastic and the cards and plates are cardboard.Good buy, if a little expensive but I think this will be a favourite and will last for a long time.

Purchased for some pancake day fun.
As usual with Learning Resources products they are good high quality. Would have liked the plates to be plastic, they are cardboard. The game comes with two plates, one blue and one red, but the spatulas are both red, one would have been nice in blue so you could have two distinct teams.

Cute and simple game
My 6 year old loved this. I thought it would be too simple for her and she’d be bored in 5 mins but she genuinely loved it. It’s a game where you could easily adapt it to make it harder or easier. The aim of the game is to stack a plate with the pancakes in the same order to match the card chosen. What we did was got dad to pick a card or ‘order’ a pancake stack. We had the plates at one end of the room and the pancakes in the lid ‘griddle pan’ at the other end. We used our spatulas to collect the pancakes one by one. I was only allowed to look at the stack card once, i let my child look as many times as needed. At the end you pop a ‘butter pat’ on top and dad had to check it was correct. First one to deliver dad the correct stack, won! It’s designed to play as a relay but we didn’t have enough people, but I could see this being a fun game instead of the egg and spoon race at a party or school nursery sports day.Well made and uses the imagination. Recommended by us!

More modern egg and spoon
Great learning game and a mix up to the standard egg and spoon race. The only down side to this game is that the plates aren't plastic but never the less it's a great game for children and adults of all ages .
