the hold and shine moisture mist is not heavy, it is a light spray. the frizz free curl mousse to me is light but a little sticky in your hands. the curl enhancing smoothie is white cream and is heavier. I use the first two daily and the smoothie only after i wash my hair. I am a female with very curly hair--I wash my hair, apply the products, scrunch my hair and let it air dry. I get lots of compliments.
