Kendall is seriously so well written as an American Sweetheart. Giving her a MMC like Dominick was a genius move by this author! Together though, wow… so spicy! And, PLEASE give us more Charlize!!

Dayuuum! Marni Mann did not mess around. The Lawyer is explosive chemistry, scandalous drama and fiery red hot passion from beginning to end! My gawd!! This book is so addicting and hot! The forbidden encounters, the delicious tension and the dirty talk (so much dirty talk). I devoured it all up. Look, I enjoy Marni Mann’s emotionally charged books but I LIVE for her steamy ones. Give me all the sexy times!!Dominick and Kendall could not be any more perfect for one another. They had an undeniable connection on not only a sexual level but also an emotional level. This relationship that started as a one night stand turned into a strong bond.I loved Kendall’s personality right away. She’s kind, down to earth and genuinely a good person in a world of glitz and scandal. I hated how her sister treated her but I loved how she stood up for herself.Dominick’s growth was one of my favorite things about this book. To be honest, I wasn’t the biggest fan of egotistical playboy Dominick and it took me a while to come around on him. There was an arrogance to him that rubbed me the wrong way in the beginning. And frankly, I didn't like how he and his brothers talked about women. But eventually he won me over. As the story went on and we got to see how he softened with Kendall and his niece, I couldn’t help but fall for him. The way he fiercely protected and championed Kendall melted my heart.If you want a fast paced, steamy Hollywood romance that you won’t want to put down, then you need to read this! When I say it’s hot, I mean it's HAWT!!! I can't wait to read the other Dalton Brothers' books.

The Hollywood drama, the scorching heat, the sex, hot dang the SEX. If you are a fan of erotic romance, you definitely need to experience one of Marni’s! She brings the heat and chemistry between her characters and creates a scorching hot experience. This book starts off hot and heavy between Dominick and Kendall, nothing slow building about this romance. Dominick is a high powered entertainment lawyer in LA and Kendall is new to LA working as an assistant to her reality TV star sister. But she is no meek newbie, she has sass and kindness and is the perfect offset to his strong demeanor, giving his guarded heart a reason to beat.“I wasn’t just igniting a blaze between us; I was playing with fire.”When Dominick set his sights on Kendall, there was no way she could resist the desire between them. The heat never died down between these two either, it only got stronger as the story progressed, be prepared to be fanning yourself! Dominick is the epitome of a bachelor, not looking for a commitment but Kendall became an addiction, stealing his every thought and dream. There is not a lot of couple drama for these two, which I enjoyed but there is plenty of outside drama to add in the tension and heartache. Kendall’s sister, Daisy, was the perfect Hollywood villain for this story. Self centered and everything you imagine a bratty reality star would be, I hated her but understood why Kendah couldn’t. Overall I really enjoyed this book! I flew through read it and am looking forward to the brothers books!“One kiss wasn’t enough. It never was. When it came to Kendall, I always wanted more. Needed more. Desired more.”

SpoilersTbh dominick was a douche.. it may have just been the language in the book for example the first sentence is “this club is lit” or something like that. Definitely one of the worst mmc I’ve read in a while it honestly didn’t make sense he was part drunk frat boy part caring sweet uncle part badass lawyer

The price of fame is high, and for some the benefits don’t outweigh the cost especially if it’s your happiness. I loved how even though Dominick brought Kendall into the spotlight, he never failed to have her back, even when it might put him in front of a camera he has no interest in. What starts out as a hot night with insta-lust chemistry, quickly becomes more as Dom and Kendall spend more time together. The magnetic pull between them blurring the lines of professionalism and forging a bond between the two MCs.Kendall gets drawn in by the shiny veneer of LA shortly after her arrival to be her sister’s PA. Dominick quickly sees the potential she has for the screen, and presents her an opportunity she can’t refuse to star on a reality TV series. He will represent her and quickly brings on a dream team to work with her. This immediately raises her bratty sister’s hackles and sparks weeks of outrage. Meanwhile, Dominick and Kendall can’t get each other off their minds and from a one night stand, their relationship quickly blooms.This yummy book is full of steam, plot, and action. Kendall is equally likable in her wholesomeness and her backbone. She knows who she is, but gets wrapped up in the hype and quickly realizes that this isn’t what she bargained for. Dominick for his part, never wavers in his support for Kendall, which I really appreciated. He is cunning and steadfast, pulling strings to make things happen. Their steam is perfection, their relationship is just what I love in a romance, and I adored Charlize - Kendall’s BFF in LA. This was a steamy and yummy story that I quickly devoured and can’t wait to continue the series.
