Mine came with a USB connector cable. I think they just mean that it doesn't come with any extra peripherals

No this only works for Yeti and Yeti Pro.

Q: If i buy the microphone only what usb cable should i purchase for this to connect to my laptop?

I'm pretty sure the connection is a usb to mini-usb (and that is MINI usb NOT MICRO usb like you get on some phones) connection but the mic should come packaged with it. Would be very surprised for anywhere to sell it without the cable.

good quality

Good quality, sturdy structure and good fit with the blue yeti. There are no instructions so you have to play with the fittings that Blue yeti came with. As soon as I installed it stayed in any position I wanted it to be. Can hold the weight comfortably without issues. Very happy with the purchase. I would highly recommend it. The only complain is its high price in my opinion.

Very wide! Shockmount. Stylish.

It is a great shockmount but be aware that it wont be ideal if you do not have much room around your microphone. I have around a 9 inch space between my PC tower and monitors so it left barely any room for my microphone to move around once installed. Their is nothign wrong with this shockmount though, very high quality and recommended if space isnt an issue. Really does cancel out a lot of bumping noise and desk vibrations.

Bigger than expected

Wow this is quite large and looks very professional. I'm glad I got it. Will leave more feedback after I use it but overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Only get this one

I bought a £14 shock mount before deciding to buy this one as it broke after a month. Honestly don't bother with any other and just go for this one it's not worth the risk.Very easy to install and looks good.

It's... barely average

It's shocking that this item costs £55 and can barely do it's job properly. What I mean is that it can not hold the weight of the microphone it is intended for and I personally thinks that's embarrassing from Blue. I'm sure you can find much cheaper shock mounts for the same performance if not better. The average person doesn't even need a shock mount, bare that in mind before purchasing.
