Q: Can you use this to make fruit-flavored gelatin for the kids, similar to jell-o but healthier?

Definitely, that is mainly what we use it for. If you go to their website you can find recipes. My family likes firmer jello so I use about 1.5-2x the amount of gelatin they suggest in the recipes. I use whatever juice we have on hand and add in some homemade elderberry juice and it is super healthy and great for a healthy immune system.

Q: Does this have any flavor or odor at all?

Yes. I bought the green lid beef gelatin and it absolutely smells like cow hooves and tastes that way too. I made gummies and am having a hard time eating them. I will try and experiment with different flavors, but would not buy this brand if you are making gummies. The Collagen peptides, blue lid are definitely tasteless and have no scent, but will also not gel like a gelatin.

Hi there! The main difference between our Collagen Peptides (blue) and our Beef Gelatin (green) is the way can be used. The Collagen Peptides will dissolve in any hot or cold liquid, so they're great to add to coffee, tea, smoothies, etc. Our Beef Gelatin will gel in cold liquids, so it's perfect for parfaits or gelatins.
