Q: whats the differnce between AV-45 and a AV100

I think it's the size of the tank. 100= 100 gallon tank, 45= 45 gallon tank.

Q: Will this work without the suction line going to the pump? I have a galv well tank that I have to keep filling manually with air. Will this work?

It requires the 1/4" copper tubing from the suction side of the pump to operate. There is a rubber bladder that must move to draw in a small amount of air when the pump operates and it then pushes that air into the tank when the pump stops.
