How large is each bag (dimension-wise)?

It's like a regular tea bag size. I've gone through almost 2 boxes and really like it. Tastes like just plain tea...... No bizarre tastes/flavors.....

how do i know the tea is fresh?

I am sorry, but I do not know how to tell if tea is fresh. I do know that the tea is not moldy or anything and is the best tasting black tea I have come across--a full rich taste without any weird additional flavors (think bergamot or floral notes).

Is each tea bag individually wrapped?

No, and I wish they were. When I buy them in France or some other European country, they are always individually wrapped. The ones from Amazon seem to be from an Arabic or maybe Indian country and are just bare tea bags.

Is this plain yellow label tea or orange pekoe?

I have been drinking Lipton's Yellow Label Tea for over 10 years, generaly 4 to 5 cups a day using tea bags. After brewing for 3 to 5 minutes it appears black before adding Splenda (a sweetener for diabetics) and powdered milk (Coffee-Mate). If it was blended with Orange Pekoe it would have a slight orange colour and flavour. I happen to prefer the black colour and slightly bitter flavour of all black tea.
